How do I know I have the chain adjusted correctly? I donโ€™t know how tight it should really be. The chain tensioner is pretty much maxed and the engine is sitting as far forward as the new mounting bracket will allow. Seems like the chain still has about 1/2 to 3/4 inch of play on the top. I have a Predator 212 go cart with a Mikuni carb upgrade but I can't get it to idle slow enough so the clutch isn't engaged and I want to know what I can do to fix that. I have the tillotson 212e hemi I need stainless steel valves and 36 pound springs, retainers, keepers push rods and rocker arms. Finding valid info on that engine is not easy! I know it has 27/24 valve faces, but you will need to verify you have the 5.5mm stems and not the 5mm stems.
