For high quality Mini bike 340 series belts that give assured performance and durability for your Comet torque converter clutch, check stocks at OMB Warehouse. How do Mini bike 340 series belts work? The drive clutch of the Comet 340 series torque converter clutch is activated by centrifugal force from the engine crankshaft. The movable sheave of the clutch is forced in as the RPM of the engine is increased. This contacts the drive belt. The drive belt is then be forced to a larger diameter within the clutch sheaves, thus pulling it to a smaller diameter within the driven unit sheaves. The movable sheave of the driven unit is forced out, allowing the belt to seek its smaller, high speed ratio diameter. As this happens, the speed from the engine transferred to the final drive is increased. Check the correct size of Mini bike 340 series belts for your bike before ordering. If the belt is too short, it will rob the drive system of its efficiency, including too much friction, wearing out the belt, and not being able to attain the highest speed ratio. If Mini bike 340 Series belts are too long, it will also cause loss of efficient operation.
